September 15th | Sean Gazitua; President and CEO of WTDC

On September 15, WTDC President & CEO Sean Gazitua was honored to serve as a guest speaker to the FIU International Business Honors Society (IBHS). He spoke with students about the dynamic world of logistics and shared insights into WTDC’s employee-first company culture highlighting our company pillars - God and Family, Health and Education, Community, and WTDC.

Mr. Gazitua proudly announced WTDC’s annual scholarship supporting student participation in the Bandhwari Women’s Project, furthering our commitment to education, leadership, and global citizenship. Amanda Garcia, WTDC Operations and Business Development Part-Timer, will also receive a scholarship for her travel to India. WTDC has sponsored students to attend Bandhwari Women’s Project each since their first trip abroad in 2016.

September 22nd | John Nykolaiszyn; Director of FIU’s Office of Business Career Management

Big thanks to John Nikolaiszyn for an inspiring session at the IBHS 3rd General Meeting! From career strategies to life after graduation, students walked away with real-world insights and a renewed sense of direction. 💼✨ Mr. Nikolaiszyn covered what recruiters typically look on a resume and in interviews. Additionally, how to take advantage of the resources that come with being an FIU student, including VMock, meeting with your career advisor, and visiting on-campus events like the FIU resume fest and the career fairs.
